Land of Sound Base

The Base has actually stood for a very long time, possibly ever sense the creation of Otogakure. While it eventually went out of comission after the late Orochimaru's invasion of Konaha, the Base was soon re-established and has regained it's power.

Merchant Houses

This neighborhood is also the central market places of Otogakure. Each house is often labeled with the business or service they provide, usually with a sign right outside it. Potential customers would walk inside and, if anyone is managing the front desk, will do business with them. However, if the customer is unruly and shows disrespect to the Homeowner, the merchant may throw them out.

Soundless Monastery

The largest religious temple in Otogakure, this masterpiece stands at a stunning 100 meters, and was masterfully crafted by artisans. The inside of it is gigantic, and has numerous statues of numerous deities. It even has a grand library for those who are willing to learn, while the courtyard, complete with a Buddhist statue, is usually filled with good-hearted Genin and Chunin training.

Abandoned Mansion

A very large mansion, believeing to have been once owned by the infamous Orochimaru, stands amongst the many lower class houses. Though mighty, time has taken it's toll on this once beautiful place, and is now no more than a unstable home that may come down at any minute. Myth has it, there is a ghost of a onyx snake with golden eyes in the place, said to kill anyone who enters.

Relaxing Hotsprings

These natural hotsprings have gained some much fame, that the main who established the Otogakure Hotsprings made millions. Come here to fully enjoy the relative peacefulness of Otogakure and awe at it's beauty. Interestingly, the springs are co-ed, meaning, both genders bathe and relax together, rather then being seperated by a wall. However, there are multiple sections, such as for children, lovers, and such.

Noizukage Mansion

This is the actual place the Noizukage lives, being inherited by each new Noizukage. It is a very oriental palace of sorts, the main hall and hall-ways being adorned with either the past Noizukages or very honorably shinobi of Otogakure. This place is usually guarded by Patrol Guards, and one must make a appointment to meet the Noizukage in his/her home.

Lake Shizukera

Lake Shizukera is a small lake located near the Otogakure gates. It's quiet and beautiful scenery make it a good spot to sit, relax, or just fish for the koi inside. Be warned, training and making sound noises here is very looked down upon.
